Setting up simple, standardized ESG reporting (VSME)
This service is specifically aimed at companies not directly concerned by the CSRD regulatory requirement to publish a sustainability report.
With the introduction of new regulations (CSRD, Green Taxonomy, CSDDD) requiring companies concerned to publish annual ESG data relating to their value chain and suppliers, ESG questionnaires are set to multiply.
Plan and Rise supports companies in setting up structured, standardized ESG reporting, enabling them to respond simply and effectively to the various requests.
We rely on the Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for non-listed SMEs (VSME) issued by EFRAG in December 2024.
This highly simplified VSME standard aims to harmonize and standardize the various sustainability questionnaires issued by different players.
On the one hand, it covers the essential ESG requirements of financial market players and corporate clients subject to various regulations.
On the other hand, it responds to the need of business partners to assess the sustainability risk profile of the company as borrower or supplier.
Our value proposition
Scope definition : During a scoping meeting, we identify together the scope of the VSME standard applicable to your company and its subsidiaries, as well as any missing information and data.
Gap analysis and implementation : We set up actions to collect the available data and address the gaps.
For example: carbon accounting, greenhouse gas emissions reduction plan, climate risk analysis and adaptation plan, formalization of an ethics charter or code of business conduct...
Report writing and roadmap definition : We write your company's sustainability report. If necessary, in addition to the actions already taken to address the gaps, we define together the avenues for improvement, their objectives, their implementation schedule and the resources and investments to be mobilized.
This service can be provided after the sustainability report has been drawn up, if these areas for improvement are not intended to be included in the report.
Intervention at your convenience : We can also assist you in implementing some of the identified improvement actions.
For example: carbon accounting, greenhouse gas emissions reduction plan, biodiversity actions, analysis and adaptation plan for environmental and social risks, formalization of an ethics charter or business code of conduct, eco-design analysis, definition of a responsible purchasing policy, implementation of waste management/recycling practices...

Take your approach a step further : perform a dual materiality analysis
The dual materiality analysis offers genuine performance levers to enhance the company's strategy.
While questioning the company on the impact of its activities on its natural and social environment, this analysis is a powerful tool for projecting the company into the future. It identifies the dependencies as well as the many risks and new opportunities to which its activities could be or will be exposed in the world of tomorrow.
Thanks to our specific approach and tools, the analysis of your company's dual materiality concerns your entire value chain. We look at all the sustainability themes relevant to your business model, then prioritise them.
What's the objective ?
To develop a robust, long-term sustainability strategy in response to the future challenges facing your business.
What are the results ?
You build your company's resilience and, by better anticipating risks and opportunities, you can take it to a higher level of performance, economically, socially and environmentally.
